Quinto Jug: Dandelion Pattern
Made in Stoke-on-Trent, England
Design: Gillian Naylor and Mark Faulkner @ Repeat Repeat
The Quinto Dandelion is part of our popular white bone china range with raised 3D patterns although on this jug the understated floral motif is embossed into the bone china. The jug shape was inspired by a small Cuban conga drum called a Quinto. We designed it with a smaller handle than our main ranges of white jugs to compliment its delicate shape.
Our bone-china jugs are made the traditional way, starting with liquid clay poured into a mould by hand. The jug then goes through around 20 hand processes, as well as three firings in a kiln before it’s ready. Because they’re made by hand, our jugs may differ from each other very slightly, which we think adds to their charm and character.
The quality is first rate, just as you would expect from bone china made in England.
